Film for Vaucher Manufacturer

Impulsing True Emotions Together

My thoughts on the Vaucher Manufacturer project:

“Let us leave the thought open to define what the true length of a movement is. The moment between us doesn’t have a beginning or an end. It’s a cocktail of speed and displacement, it takes us anywhere we want to go if we let it. We change the position of objects with progression, we accelerate. Objects of thought. We spin in choreographic velocity or dance in romantic repetition. We make distances shorter or maybe our time sight longer. We move backwards and forwards in this moment, because we are too curious how it will end.

After immersing myself in the realms of physics, cosmology, and philosophy for the purpose of crafting a film for Vaucher Manufacturer, I've gained a newfound appreciation for the intricate craft of watchmaking. Originating from the Fleurier workshop founded by Michael Parmigiani in 1975, Vaucher has evolved into a powerhouse, manufacturing numerous calibres for esteemed Hermès watches, notably their micro rotor H1950. This ingenious mechanism not only tracks Earth's movement but also halts operation when at rest.
