Greece — September 2018. Surrounding scenery helps our audience to place architecture in context. When shooting outdoors I seek dramatic lighting and specific hours with long shadows and vivid colors. Twilight can create the most impressive atmosphere and often plays a big role in the vision of an architectural project. Technically, I put emphasis on straight vertical lines, precise positioning of angles and framing interiors and exteriors in harmony. The relationship between outdoor and indoor spaces illustrates movement and invites the viewer of the photograph to imagine themselves on site. Images photographed for ISV Architects.
