What?
The First Virtual Exhibition and activation around Google mapping of Skokloster Castle. PR and invitations to the first digital experience of the castle.

 

My role
Creative consultancy including marketing analysis and solutions for digital approaches. The consultancy for The Royal Armoury, Skokloster Castle and Hallwyl Museum stretched over six months. I redefined channel targets and developed promotional campaigns built on the findings.

 

Thoughts

The future museum is more adaptable, creative and confident. Systemic problems are restraining the impact of museums. The monoculture that pervades most senior management teams remains a significant issue. Decades of attempting and failing to tackle the lack of diversity means if you want change, do small things fast and sometimes - avoid interference with high-level strategy documents.

The speed of technological change is transforming ways people access, enjoy and create culture. If we don’t seek to fully grasp its potential, there is a real risk that we become obsolete for those we seek to engage.
